LIGA NG BARANGAY 2ND ANNUAL CONVENTION

NENE WITH MINDANAO VILLAGE LEADERS. Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Q. Pimentel, Jr. (PDP-Laban) is greeted by Muslim delegates to the 2nd national convention of the Liga ng Barangay held on May 20, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia in Pasay City. In his speech, Pimentel cited the importance of enacting a Magna Carta for Barangays that will clearly define the rights and responsibilities of barangay officials.
